In this fallen world we have many struggles which can easily lead us to strive in our own strength. It’s easy to become stagnant in things of the Spirit when there are so many distractions that occupy our time and so many spirits ready to capitalize on our lusts (biblically, lust refers to the desires or cravings of our 5 senses). Gracious is our Lord Jesus to leave The Comforter, His Holy Spirit that gently guides us back to faith. Here are 7 scriptures to meditate on for your spiritual success (it is encouraged that you read the full chapter of each scripture listed for full context):

Deuteronomy 28:1 (NLT)
If you fully obey the Lord your God and carefully keep all his commands that I am giving you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations of the world.

Jeremiah 29:11 (NLT)
“For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.”

Matthew 6:33 (NLT)
Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and He will give you everything you need.

Romans 8:28 (NLT)
And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to His purpose for them.

Romans 12:2 (NLT)
Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.

Ephesians 4:21-24 (NLT)
Since you have heard about Jesus and have learned the truth that comes from Him, throw off your old sinful nature and your former way of life, which is corrupted by lust and deception. Instead, let the Spirit renew your thoughts and attitudes. Put on your new nature, created to be like God—truly righteous and holy.

Philippians 4:19 (NLT)
And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus.

 

Pray this prayer daily to unlock your faith and chip away disbelief:

 

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for setting me high above the nations, cycles, interferences, and subjugations of this world in accordance to my obedience to Your Word. You have renewed me with a new hope in the perfect plan You have for my life. You are Jehovah Jireh, my Provider. I release control and receive Your providence. Anxiety, depression, and every attack of the mind is under my feet as I seek Your face in every facet of my life. I take solace in knowing my past does not define me, everything is working together for my greatest good in Jesus Name. Every spirit of self delusion, every lustful temptation, and deceptive intrusion are broken as I turn away from my old ways and model Your ways instead. I look more and more like my Father, The King daily.  Prosperity is my birthright, I receive my inheritance in Jesus mighty name. Amen & amen.
